The New Globe is a project happening on Governors Island in New York, NY. An old fort, Castle Williams, will be converted into a modern theater modeled after Shakespeare’s Globe Theater (which has already been reconstructed in London).
What’s crazy is that I also found links to a picture of New York’s Globe reconstruction… in Second Life!
